Omnicure LX400 LED

The OmniCure® LX400 LED UV Spot Curing System utilizes the highest power and most reliable LED technology in the smallest form factor currently available. Control up to four UV LED Heads independently or simultaneously via Foot Pedals or PLC inputs. Each head can be set for different exposure times and irradiance levels in 1% increments. Three different wavelengths are available (365nm, 385nm, 400nm) for greater compatibility with current adhesives. OmniCure®’s objective is to provide the most advanced systems on the market that delivers the benefits of UV and visible spot curing.

Utilizing advanced UV LED technology, the OmniCure® LX400+ LED spot curing system has been specially designed to reduce UV bonding manufacturing costs through faster curing times, higher power efficiency and superior control with monitoring capabilities.
The LX400+ LED system offers a robust and intuitive user interface with quick configuration capabilities including ready to use timer, power level and head temperature display modes, as well as a durable and reliable “Start/Stop” activation button.

OmniCure™ LX 400 LED specifications :

  • Interchangeable/replaceable focusing lens options.
  • UV LED heads: The LED heads have been uniquely designed for highly efficient cooling to maximize continuous operation without over-heating. This will minimize costly downtime and extend the life of the LED heads, resulting in low cost of ownership and convenience that manufacturers can rely on. Due to its superior design, when properly clamped, the head may be used continuously while remaining cool.
  • Focusing lenses: OmniCure® UV LED heads use replaceable focusing lenses that offer the flexibility essential to meet the spot size and irradiance level required for a specific application. Beam profiles for the new OmniCure® 365nm UV LED MAX heads with the 3mm, 6mm and 8mm lenses are illustrated below. Additional beam profiles and technical information are available on the OmniCure® website (www.LDGI-OmniCure™.com).
  • UV LED light meter: The OmniCure® LED light meter can measure power and irradiance by selecting a specific wavelength on the meter that corresponds to the wavelength of the LED UV source. This enables manufacturers to achieve greater accuracy with ease of use while maintaining reliable and controlled UV assembly processes (NIST, NRC Traceable). The OmniCure® high power fiber light guides (HPFLG) are ideal for use when multiple outputs with equal intensities to each output are required. Lumen Dynamics’ proprietary fused fiber bundle and higher Numerical Aperture (NA) allow OmniCure® HPFLGs to capture maximum light power from the UV curing light source. Fiber light guides are virtually free of optical degradation compared to liquid light guides. OmniCure® multi-leg HPFLG greatly improves UV bonding manufacturing processes by offering key advantages over competitive solutions:
